Orange Zest Celeste
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and orange zest.
Cut the cold butter into small pieces and add to the dry ingredients. Use a pastry cutter or your fingers to blend until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
Stir in the dried cranberries.
In a separate bowl, combine the heavy cream and vanilla extract. Pour into the dry mixture and stir until a soft dough forms.
Turn the dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead gently a few times. Pat into a circle about 1-inch thick. Cut into 8 wedges.
Place scones on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
Remove from the oven and let cool slightly. Drizzle honey over the top of each scone.
